Ancient Sedona Goat Milk Soap is created with the following:
Fresh, Raw Goat’s Milk
Sodium Hydroxide - (Lye)
Ancient Sedona Fragrance Oil
Added to the oils are a mixture of Raw Goat Milk and Sodium Hydroxide (Lye). Just before pouring the soap into the molds I add Sodium Lactate.
Sodium Lactate is a liquid salt that is naturally derived from the natural fermentation of sugars found in corn and beets. In Cold Process soap, Sodium Lactate helps to produce a harder bar of soap that lasts longer in the shower. Because Sodium Lactate is a salt, it is a natural humectant, providing moisture.
Every bar of soap is unique in appearance so your soap will likely vary from the one pictured.
